# Drafting Documents

    * Compare against similar policies that are available on the internet

    * Identify compliance issues under applicable laws

    A strong starting form that takes into account the goals of the organization has tremendous value.  Here are things you can do in the Chat to improve your draft:

    * Improve readability
    * Align with market standards
    * Reduce ambiguity
    * Check for definition and cross-reference errors
    * Compare against similar forms that are available on the internet
    * Get contract design recommendations

    In addition, for standard form agreements, you can run the counterparty's review playbook against your form to see what might get flagged and decide whether you want to address it in advance.
