Review Agreement for Legal Compliance

What to use: the Agreement, the Chat.Step 1: Open the Agreement, open the Word Add-in, select Chat.Step 2: Tell Chat to analyze the agreement against the law (or collection of laws) to identify anything missing that is required/anything extra that is not required/etc. It is helpful to tell the Chat agent the level of detail to provide and which party you represent and your goal. If you are looking at multiple laws, you may want to request a table format with a column for each applicable law.

Practice Negotiation

What to use: the Agreement, the Chat.Step 1: Open the Agreement, open the Word Add-in, select Chat.Step 2: Ask Chat to practice negotiations with you for one or more specific sections. Share additional relevant context, who you represent, how aggressive to be, any prior exchanges you may have had with the counterparty, and the background of the counterparty’s negotiator.

Look Up Referenced Laws

What to use: the Agreement, the Chat.Found a reference in your contract to a statute you aren’t familiar with? Ask Chat to look up the statute and provide a summary. Ask it how the law applies to your specific contract and what your responsibilities are under the applicable statute.
